I believe serious problems require serious actions and real consequences and accountability. I’m sure this dad spoke to her after the first bullying incident but that didn’t get through. While children should be treated kindly wherever possible, they also need discipline and rules. He made sure he followed her so she was safe. Sometimes tough love is required or there might be more serious problems and consequences later on.
