Stephen Hawking was one of the greatest minds of the 21st Century and was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS- Lou Gehrig's disease) at the age of twenty-one. While the scientist was only expected to live for two years, he defied all expectations and lived for over five decades. He lived in a motorized wheelchair with a breathing machine to help him breathe, and a computer-generated voice as he couldn't speak.

My thought is if he could still look up at the stars, why shouldn't each and every one of us try and do so as well!
