Elvis Presley is considered one of the foremost singers / performers of all time. After his death his ex-wife was advised to sell the unique home and property. She declined but accomplished two things that I think were way more valuable. By opening Graceland to the public, his grandchildren are provided a significant source of income regularly. The other major benefit is the public and Presley’s millions of fans can tour and still be entertained by him. Once again, money should not drive every decision one makes. There are secondary and even un-intended consequences that thankfully Priscilla Presley considered.
